Sinnott was the inker on the first Marvel I read, MTIO 50.  Sinnott over Byrne on a time travel story - mind blown!

Many of my comic memories are inked by him.  So sad to hear.  Even if you know it's coming, it doesn't make it easier for the family.

Definitely sad news.

Joe's impact on the Marvel Age of Comics cannot be measured.

His work held the Fantastic Four together for over a decade until JB has taken over the storytelling full time.

RIP Joltin' Joe!!!!!✒

Sad news for sure.  There are so few left of that era.  92 years, though, is a long time, especially when you get to spend most of it doing what you love.

Well, that one hurt.  An all-time great, a personal favorite, and definitely my favorite Kirby inker.

RIP, Joe.  Thanks for everything.

Very sad to hear this. One of the greats, if not the greatest, inker to put pen to paper. A fantastic career that spanned decades and left great memories for so many comic readers.

Absolutely amazing that he only retired last year. This is a true legend leaving us all right. A very sad day indeed..

I'm nearly at a loss for words here.  IMO, Joe Sinnott was probably the 4th most import person for Marvel being MARVEL in the 60's.  The others being Stan, Jack, and Ditko, of course.

So now he's with Stan & Jack and they're producing one hell of a run of comics in the afterlife.

RIP
