If you had to pick one artist, besides Steve Ditko, who best captures Doctor
Strange for you, who is it?

Yeah, Frank Brunner!

But I would have liked to have seen long runs by Jim Starlin and P. Craig Russell (and that Frank Miller stint we were teased!) to compare.

Tough choice, as there are a few I could pick. Paul Smith would get my vote, though.

The force is strong with Frank Brunner, Colan provided some welcome moodiness, Michael Golden was a decent match on those rare occasions he actually did the title, even Frank Miller had an interesting take. Paul Smith is excellent and probably my first alternate. But I'm going with Marshall Rogers. Paired with Terry Austin, he nailed the Good Doctor and, after Ditko, created the model for me.

Oh, shoot! I meant to write Marshall Rogers but the
name came out Michael Golden.

Maybe I don't understand the question, but I assumed it was about artists that worked on one of the "Doctor Strange" titles.
