Saddened by the news of Peter Green's passing. What a tremendous player he was, and as co-founder of Fleetwood Mac his legacy will live on.

It's been a few days but we still don't know why he died.

For a few years he was probably the best of the British blues-rock guitarists of the '60s and early '70s.

He also wrote this song, made more famous by Santana.

I've had out all my videos and CDs of Peter Green the last few days, mainly Bluesbreakers and Fleetwood Mac. One of my favorite musicians! The doc on his early career titled 'Man Of The World' after one of his songs was the final straw that got me to buy a Region 2 PAL DVD player. Well, maybe he is jamming with Danny Kirwan and Bob Bruning on the Sunny Side of a nicer place. Peter Greenbaum, though at times wracked by existential guilt trips, added a lot of good to my life and quite a few others as well!
