i often wonder how different the west coast team would have been if Roger Stern could have continued with his plans for the team instead of the book being given to Steve Englehart. I remember being disappointed that Stern and Hall weren't doing the regular series because I loved the mini-series.

Just re-read the mini a couple of days ago. Really enjoyed it. Really dug Hall’s work, as well. He was kinda there with Gammill in that he was a fantastic artist, but relatively unknown.
I never heard why the two didn’t continue on the ongoing book. Was there something going on?

I've read some interviews with Roger Stern and he was hoping to use both teams but they decided to give the book to Steve Englehart when it became an ongoing book.
