My picks are exactly the same as Doug's, except for the tie.

I'm going with Packers-Vikings for that one.

With Covid-19 hovering over all aspects of our life, it's hard to really get into my favorite sport. But I need a distraction, so here I go.......

Thursday, 9/10

  • Texans at Chiefs

Sunday, 9/13

  • Seahawks at Falcons
  • Jets at Bills
  • Bears at Lions
  • Packers at Vikings
  • Dolphins at Patriots
  • Eagles at Football Club
  • Raiders at Panthers
  • Colts at Jaguars
  • Browns at Ravens
  • Chargers at Bengals
  • Buccaneers at Saints
  • Cardinals at 49ers
  • Cowboys at Rams

Monday, 9/14

  • Steelers at Giants
  • Titans at Broncos

Tie Breaker: Chargers @ Bengals

This is going to be a hard season to gauge. With no true training camp and preseason games, I really believe that it will be hard for defenses to focus on how to stop teams with explosive offenses (KC, Baltimore, New Orleans)

There will be 2 extra playoff teams this season. With that, I want to go on record that only 1 playoff team from 2019 will not return (So long Patriots) and that the following teams will make the playoff this season:

NFC - Dallas

AFC: Pittsburgh, Miami

DISCLAIMER: My predictions goes on the assumption that there will not be any significant Covid-19 outbreaks during the season.

Philippe, I'll repost your post (hopefully you can see that?)

Chiefs great openning but, come on

Falcons another QB showdown...Seattle D is
betterave but Superdome
Bills top Patriots this year ?
Lions tie or take Stafford
Vikings must see !!!
Patriots revenge !!!
Eagles at the no name team
Raiders for Carr
Colts with a great OL/DL game
Ravens.not the best first game for the Browns
Chargers
Buceers at Saints wow I'll take Brady and the stats
49ers
Cowboys at Rams wow II I'll take the home team

Steelers
Titans

*****
And my (Rick's) picks, flying pretty blind:

Thursday, 9/10

    Chiefs Gimme Game #1

Sunday, 9/13

Seahawks Atlanta starts crappily each year it seems.
Bills Bills faded last yr but still on upswing I hope
Bears   9 straight losses by Detroit hard to ignore.
Vikings Great game... maybe GB distracted right now?
Patriots Miami stunned NE in Dec last year and has improved. Belichick and Foxboro still the ez pick.
Eagles "Football team" deserves to lose every game with that "name."
Raiders Just a feeling for LV
Colts Run of the mill AFC south matchup
Ravens Smuck team AFC north matchup
Bengals Upset POTW...hoping Tyrod Taylor's play upsets
Saints Hate going against Brady and Gronk
    49ers Gimme game #2
Rams Last year's two most disappointing and unpredictable teams duke it out. No confidence except LA plays better at home and Dallas worse on the road... fairly meaningless in this COVID world?

Monday, 9/14

Steelers Tomlin almost stole a playoff spot with nothing last yr and Giants stank on ice
Titans Close call; Denver has the only true home advantage but Von Miller's loss doesn't help.

++++++++++
Okay, at least I got one. Here's the rest:
Seattle at Atlanta: Seattle. This is a tough one so go with my heart
Browns at Ravens: Baltimore
Jets at Bills: I still believe in Darnold but I guess not much because I'm
going with the home team: Bills
Raiders at Panthers: Another tough one, I'm going to guess Teddy needs a
little more time to get the offense and go Raiders
Bears Vs Lioins: Disgusting but I'll go with the Bears
Colts vs Jaguars: Colts
Packers vs Vikings: Vikings
Eagles at Washington: Eagles
Patriots at Miami: This is tough, I'm going to take the upset: Miami
Tampa Bay Vs New Orleans: Saints
Chargers Vs Bengals:   Chargers
Steelers Vs Giants: Giants
Cardinals vs 49, S.F
Rams Vs Cowboys: Rams
Titans Vs Broncos: Titans

Thursday, 9/10
Chiefs Right

Sunday, 9/13

Seahawks Right, Philippe wrong. Atlanta should have been a much better team each of the past three years.

Bills Right

Bears   Right, Philippe wrong. Toss up game, just went my way this time.

Vikings Wrong. Nice game, Rogers!

Patriots Right

Eagles Wrong

Raiders Right

Colts Wrong

Ravens Right

Bengals Wrong, Philippe right. I keep wanting the Bengals to turn the corner for some reason.

Saints Right, Philippe wrong. Brady started strong, then all-too-human. Gronk a non-factor. So far.

49ers Wrong!! Murray's running was a problem for SF.

Rams Right Beautiful stadium.

9-5 thus far, 3-1 vs. my nemesis across the Atlantic!
