The biggest problem I have with modern attempts at OTR is that actors today
don't know how to act to radio. I've yet to hear any radio/audio series that
doesn't suffer from this. Even if I hear something that I think is kind of good,
comparison to anything by people who knew how to act for radio...the
difference is staggering. Creating "theater of the mind" isn't easy, so I don't
knock people for trying...but recognizing how different it is...that's just always

Exactly. Even radio programs from the 1970s donít sound as good as the ones from the Golden era of radio. It might be a fun one-time project but it just wonít be the same. 

There are hundreds and hundreds of Superman OTR programs available online, free for download. They are quite fun.

Old Time Radio Researchers Group Library has plenty.

(A lot of good shows on that site.)

They do have the Superman vs. the Klan serial ("Clan of the Fiery Cross"), and the Atom Man ones.
