I'm hoping this new young lady has the ability to easily put this house of cards back together... at least literally.

Ashley isn’t that powerful. Plus, even if she was, her power isn’t magic. Unlike, say, Zatana, she couldn’t simply command all the pieces to “Morf emac uoy erehw kcab og!” She’d have to know where they came from!

Does Charles Xavier even have insurance on the house at this point? I can only imagine the poor insurance adjuster coming out to assess the damage...

The world has become a much more complicated place since superheroes started appearing in comics.

There have been instances when people who have lost lawsuits due to an “act of God” ruling have gone on to sue God.

I suppose that’s easier in the MU.

There are some similarities between Pablo and Ashley in terms of powers. They both seem to be able to animate inanimate objects. What are the differences?

(It does seem that Pablo has developed something new, in terms of calming Wolverine down).

I just don't know how you keep up with all the plots, sub-plots and sub-sub plots!

Are there any industry "rules" or standards when it comes to subplots?

For example, when you cut to a subplot that is taking place "away" from the action, is it to be a mandatory full page?  At least two panels?  No more than one page, etc.?

Another example might be are there to be no more than two subplots going on at the same time (meaning "active" subplots, not dormant story seeds) or referenced in the same issue, etc.

I know any "rules" wouldn't be hard, but I wonder if there were any guidelines that the industry practices.  If not now, then back in the 80s, 70s, or earlier.

These would be the kind of things a professional would pick up doing the craft that an amateur may not know about.
