I enjoyed this seasonís first installment as well. Part of what I liked
about the first season was the self-contained episodes, and Iím pleased
to see that is continuing.

it's nice to see a show that seems to be so well received. I'be been holding off
for some reason but I'll give it a try soon.

Paul, it's my favorite Star Wars thing since the original trilogy. I think you'll enjoy it.

What other planet should Boba Fettís armor have ended up on?

This week went from a low-stakes, breezy episode to terrifying horror show quickly.

I see complaints that The Child eating the (unfertilized) eggs of a sentient species was played for laughs, but I think there have been hints that the Mandalorian's ruthlessness is rubbing off on the kid.

I have a theory about the child. Pretty much every time Mando fights,
there is a shot of the child watching intently.

I think he is getting a skewed view of how to deal with a situation - this
could cause problems down the line. He certainly has a playful, yet
potentially deadly, view of ĎI want, I takeí.

I was almost positive the child was going to regurgitate those eggs up after the others were somehow destroyed, saving the line.
Nope just turned out to be kind of gross.

Felt like a filler almost bottle episode which makes me wonder why if they are
only doing 8 episodes a season

Mama Frog never notices the missing eggs?

And like Doug I thought there was a reason the child was swallowing the eggs
maybe some kind of protecting them gonna burp them up later look at what
happen force magic they grew or are glowing something

nope it was almost like we are going to make this kid way less cute by eating
the unborn of a sentient endangered race

She had to have known some were missing. Pretty sure she did and let it slide.

It wasnít her race that was endangered, but her family line. And she was taking her eggs to be fertilized, so while still gross and disturbing, it wasnít the case that The Child was eating unborn babies. Unless you count the ice spider.

Episode three was probably my least favorite so far. Like
everyone else, I also found Baby Yoda eating the eggs
kinda gross. I also didn't believe that the Mandalorian
could fix his ship after crashing like that.
