My wife keeps hearing songs and saying "I'd like this played at my funeral". We now have an ongoing joke that her funeral is going to be 3 days long just to get through these songs. I've asked her to narrow these down otherwise we are going to end up with ding dong the witch is dead followed by Celebrate by cool and the gang (saracsm).
If you could choose 3 songs what would you choose to say farewell to this world?

I'd start with the second movement from Beethoven's 5th piano concerto. A time for reflection before the Eulogy.

Then it will be time for me to be on my way...

Giorgio Moroder did a synthrock version of the adagio movement from Mozart's clarinet concerto called Good Morning Mr W.A.M. I want this piece played as my casket comes down a conveyor belt and then, preferably, is fired into space like a rocket in the night. The more prosaic option would be as I go into the incinerator. Whatever the budget allows.

Then, as friends and family file out, something to put a little skip in their step. A little Jackie Wilson, methinks. Let's say (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher.

I think your funeral is your last chance to get some jokes in and prank the
people closest to you. If you don't make plans ahead of time, someone else
will do something respectful and dignified, which you definitely don't want.

My favorite idea is to hire a look-alike actor to come to the funeral and claim
that HE is the real Tim O'Neill. Or do one of those murder/mystery party
games, but with a real corpse. There's so many possibilities to mess with
people with no consequences whatsoever.

But to answer the question, I would want:

"Highway to Hell" - AC/DC
"Stayin' Alive" - The Bee Gees
"Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" - Monty Python

Ideally, it would be good to play the video of the Monty Python song as it
would better to see them singing on their crosses while in a church/funeral
