Woof.  What a mess.  Broncos/Pats game shifted to Monday.  Bills/Titans shifted to Tuesday.  That shift prompted the move of the Bills/Chiefs from next Thursday to Sunday.  And the Bills/Titans is a 50/50 proposition considering yet another member of the team tested positive yesterday after two days of negatives by the organization.

With stupid moves by players and coaching staff easing their own exposure and spread like the Raiders, is it any wonder that the NFL is precariously close to a nightmare scenario?  Built in bye weeks are limited in their capacity to address scheduling issues.  One only need look to the Steelers and Titans who now have no room for error as their single bye has already been used up.

I feel lucky every week that we still have games, but can see a situation whereby the season is upended if the NFL continues to allow games to be played when the risk of exposure is so high.  Note Stephon Gilmore of the Patriots.  He flew on one of two planes, the one designated "the higher risk of infection" plane, to Kansas City where he inexplicably played in the game moved to Monday night.  Two days later, he tests positive.  Link In it's effort to play the games, the NFL is complicit in its own clusterfuck and puts the lie to the notion that "player safety" comes first.

Not sure if anyone watched the game last night or not, but there are going to be a lot of fines coming out of it.  Numerous members of the Bucs' coaching staff had they're masks lowered and, at one point, Arians pulled his mask away from his face to scream at someone.  Also, at the end of the game, Pagano greeted his defense, after the final stop, on the field without his mask on.

They just don't give a crap it seems....

Well, Rich Marzullo was the only one to pick the Bears to knock off the Bucs in the windy city.  Good  going, Rich!  Wear it in good health:

Questionnable calls : 4 and 1 on your 20 is OK but not at 16-17 on Bears 15 with 4'49'' left ???

Roughing the passer on Foles ???

Boneheaded fauls anyway...Chicago at 4-1 ?!

Bad taste in my mouth right now...at least we saw good defenses

Looks like we have a Tuesday game!

What a damn mess.  I am gonna need you guys to watch me because one of the things I most enjoy about the NFL is the schedule regimen, and this is really poking me in the Control Issues.

  • Eagles at Steelers
  • Bengals at Ravens
  • Jaguars at Texans
  • Raiders at Chiefs
  • Dolphins at 49ers
  • Broncos at Patriots
  • Giants at Cowboys
  • Colts at Browns
  • Vikings at Seahawks

  • Colts at Browns - DISAGREE!!  I like Rivers, but he's a statue in the pocket. Their run game has been just OK. I think the Browns have more weapons.
  • Vikings at Seahawks

Monday, 10/12

  • Broncos at Patriots

Tuesday,10/13

  • Bills at Titans
There just not much daylight for more disagreement.  I could only find one!  The only other one I was considering was picking the Jags.  I just don't think the Texans are this bad.  A coaching change might be enough to lite a fire under them.  No more excuses.

Well, I wasn't going to catch up no matter what, but at worst I'll retain half the progress I made last week.  This will hopefully be our only chance to have Tuesday Night Drama  (IS it a night game?).

edit: 7PM Eastern.

Broncos @ Pats postponed and will be scheduled for a later date.  This week becomes a bye for both teams.
