First my week 5 report !!!

Bucs waste a golden opportunity at Chicago
Panthers bury the Falcons even deeper
Ravens easily
Texans at last..Jags terrible
Raiders for the upset of the week. 16-0 are rare
and Chiefs D still no elite
Cards get back on track on desperate Jets
Eagles almost ruin Steelers perfect season
Rams keep WFT winless
Fitz does more Than keep games interesting, this
team moves their ass since end of last year ans
deserved this HUGE upset...49rs won't repart as NFC
champs.
Browns Roll like they should have last year already
Cowboys win another shootout but lost Dak and
season
Vikes almost get it done in Seattle but Wilson
is...I can't find the word
Brees survives another pick6 but rewind time with
clutch drives. Chargers kickers curse is back.
Titans perfect after 16 days off...very complète
team. End of perfection for Bills.

Week 5 verdict:
Rich Marzullo wins his first week with 11-3 thanks
to his gutsy I called it.
John Popa, Rick Senger, Brian Floyd, Matt Reed,
Jales Johnson and I score 10-4 with our
conservative pick.
Paul Kimball and Kevin Hagermann score 9-5
Kevin Brown ar 8-6 and Doug Centers 7-7 took too
much chances

Overall ranking :
John Popa still reigns supreme at 55-21 (lots of
NFL.com experts do less)
As Paul forgot to pick thursday rame, Rick and I
rezch him on an overcrowded 2nd place one game
behind the leader at 53-23
Brian has 52-23
Matt 51-25
Kevin H and Rich 48-28
James leaves the last place following is solid week
at 47-29
Doug and Kevin B are only one game behind at 46-30

Texans at Titans : good to see Divisional but
Titans keep playing great football since last year
Bengals at Colts : colts
Falcons at Vikings : Falcons cost me 4 games...go
to hell, Go vikes !
Broncos at Patriots : Pats
Football Team at Giants : Giants
Ravens at Eagles : Eagles have talent, good
coaching...but will fall short
Browns at Steelers : the ultimate test...Steelers
at home
Bears at Panthers: Panthers
Lions at Jaguars : Lions are less terrible because
of Stafford
Jets at Dolphins : Dolphins
Packers at Buccaneers: rare Rodgers/Brady showdown.
I go sentimental with Brady and hope Bucs cut their
penalties.
Rams at 49ers : Rams retake the advantage
Chiefs at Bills: Chiefs...schedule gets terrible
for Buffalo
Cardinals at Cowboys : Cards

Sunday,10/18

  • Texans at Titans - The rescheduled Titans game is one the Steelers would rather have done with.  It's a big matzoh ball on their schedule.
  • Bengals at Colts - The Bengals have no hap.
  • Falcons at Vikings - I may not pick the Falcons all season, and certainly not on the road the week after firing their coach.
  • Broncos at Patriots
  • FootballTeam at Giants (MATT DISAGREES!) -
  • Ravens at Eagles - Bird fight!
  • Browns at Steelers - This may well be the best Browns team Roethlisberger has ever faced.  I am picking based on home team and inertia, but it would not surprise me for them to put together an upset.
  • Bears at Panthers (MATT DISAGREES!) - Eh, why not?  (Don't answer that.)
  • Lions at Jaguars - Cat fight!
  • Jets at Dolphins - Looks dull on paper and maybe even a foregone conclusion, but there may be some division rivalry heat still...
  • Packers at Buccaneers (MATT DISAGREES!)
  • Rams at 49ers - Rams flying under the radar

Monday,10/19

  • Chiefs at Bills - This is potentially explosive
  • Cardinals at Cowboys - It will be emotional, but Dalton has the experience, and the Cards just went 'poof' after a strong start.
Three.  Nice solid slate.  No Monday Night Drama, though.

My Potential Tie Pick is Lions and Jaguars at 16

******************************

I'll always take chances.  If there was actual money involved, I'd probably select slightly differently.  This is just for funsies.  :)

Texans at Titans: Titans
Bengals at Colts: Colts. Could be a good game. Burrow will get his 1st win
eventually
Falcons at Vikings. The falcons can't go 0-16 but I can't pick them. Vikings
Broncos at Patriots: Atrocious. Patriots
Football Team at Giants. OMG, horrible. Just horrible. I really can't say who
wins, trash or garbage? I will go with the Giants
Ravens at Eagles: This could be interesting but I'll go Ravens
Browns at Steelers. Hate the steelers but I will pick them.
Bears at Panthers: Panthers. I love you Teddy
Lions at Jaguars: Lions
Jets at Dolphins: Dolphins are becoming interesting. If they lose, they take
a big step back
Packers at Buccaneers: Pack.
Rams at 49ers. Tough.....Rams
Monday,10/19

Chiefs at Bills. Holy Cow, good Monday night game. Chiefs
Cardinals at Cowboys. Cardinals

Bears won, Packers lost, I'm quite happy.  Whatever I get the rest of the way is "gravy".

I haven't looked at awards yet - busy night for a change - but next week's games are posted and may even be correct!
