Great to see Mrs Richards in her FF#232 uniform. And her hairdo is from FF#220-221. Those pages are the missing link between the two stories?

JB- when working do you see you work "in color", meaning the way it should look in your head when published in a comic? As Elsewhen has progressed I've gotten used to uncolored work and I think its great. I'm privileged to own a few pages and I love seeing where you erased, painstakenly shaded in large areas, all the detail. I think it makes me appreciate the pencil work more. No offense to any colorists out there.

I don't tend to think in color, altho I have trained myself, when working for publication in color, to stay mindful of overlapping hues. Try not to have Daredevil stand in front of the Scarlet Witch. That sort of thing.

See? See? It's the little things like this that many just don't think about, which ends up with pages becoming incomprehensible.

Trish Mulvihill saved me, in an issue of GENERATIONS*, when, without thinking, I overlapped two figures of the Joker in adjacent panels. ————— * Or was it BATMAN & CAPTAIN AMERICA....?

I'm going to go ahead and say again that JB is one of a very few comic book artists with the uncanny ability to draw any character and always make him/her look right.

Elsewhen outtakes is off to a great start! I may've hated Herbie back when he was in the cartoon series, maybe the voice or something, but I've grown quite nostalgic for his design, and so it's nice to see some similarity reflected in MR-1. :^)

JB used the dashed lines of invisibility! Woot!
Sue asks Spider-Man to be quiet, so of course he chatters on and keeps her talking, too.

I guess I should have used the dashed lines of whispering!

Sue's invisibility is a weird one to portray! Personally I prefer the 'transparent' solid-line look, though dashes is more logical, representing a notional version of Sue rather than a literal visual image. Don't mind dashes at all, just have a slight preference for the other way.

I think it's nostalgia that gives the dashed lines the edge for me. JB does both well though.
