I admit, I'd written them off a few years back, when it looked like they were going to fade quietly into oblivion... drummer Phil Rudd was having some rather unseemly legal issues, bassist Cliff Williams had retired, and lead singer Brian Johnson was at least on sabbatical due to hearing loss (the less said about tour replacement Axl Rose, the better).  Then shortly after all that, rhythm guitarist & co-founding member Malcolm Young passed away...

Now Johnson, Williams and Rudd are back, and Malcolm's nephew Stevie Young has taken over his spot.  New album this month ("Power Up"), and their first single is a dependable kicker:

Great to have them back, especially in a dumpster fire year like 2020... watching Angus Young prance around the stage never fails to make me smile.  I'll be picking up the new album for sure!

This is good news.

Very nice to have Brian Johnson back. What a great guy. You guys should watch his show "Life on the road", where he meets a lot of rock'n'roll greats.

Bought it today.  Although my neck of the woods has been rainy & dreary all day long, it put me in an instant Good Mood!

I saw a tv commercial for this the other day, and seeing that Angus and Brian were involved made my day! Back In Black was one of two albums everyone had when I was in Junior High (the other was Queen: The Game), plus they used the title track in a Lilo & Stitch commercial once.

So this is one of a very few 'must have' releases for me. 100% Albert's of Australia Rock, accept no substitutes! B^)

AC/DC aren't really my thing, but I was glad to read about Brian Johnson getting his hearing issues sorted out via some kind of super-secretive experimental treatment.
