Back before the previous election, my uncle wanted Donald Trump for President, for Christmas.

This time, I'm getting Donald Trump no longer President, for Christmas!

I wonder how many people will identify with this opinion piece? I’m sure there are thousands of families fragmented from this man.

Republicans were on the same ballot with Joe Biden... so does that mean that the votes for them shouldn’t count either?

Today Ivanka tweeted congrats to her daddy for winning Alaska per media sources calling it. Oh the irony. So let me get this straight, only his wins count? Media is right to call those but a vast conspiracy to name Biden the winner, even in previous red states? And if we have to recount, can we agree to recount the states daddy won in? The senate races?

It's a good thing the Russian operative has so many intelligent people working his side.

I wonder @ what point does the withholding of access to intelligence
reports & transition process become a security risk to the country, &
become treason?

I agree - I wonder when back door briefings will start to
take place. Or when his orders will start to be ignored as
being the actions of an idiot dictator

In 2000 Gore didn't concede until mid December.  That still left plenty of time for the transition from Clinton to Bush.

Trump will likewise concede at the end of these court challenges, and there will be a peaceful and successful transition of power.

If you watch the Mike Pompeo interview or read the entirety of his comments, it is obvious he was joking, and he will do the right thing when it is time.

It is clear that Trump lost the election.  Its also clear that there was fraud and impropriety with the voting process and ballot counting in several states.  The court challenges will expose some of that.

Addressing the holes in the system is important.  2020 was an incredibly successful election for the country because we got record participation in the vote.  Even the losing candidate got more votes than any president has ever received before.  That's great news for our democracy.

Because this election was as successful as it was, it is likely that more states will transition to mail-in balloting on an ongoing basis in order to encourage higher rates of voter participation.  So its important that states learn how to get it right, and accountability will help with that.  Florida is a great model at this point, because of changes they made in response to the fiasco of 2000.

In this case, it looks like the amount of fraud and error is nowhere near enough to change the outcome of the election.  But sometimes the results are much closer, and the impact could be much greater, so lets take time to work the bugs out.

Its way too early to be panicking about the transition.  Be patient.  Everything will happen the way its supposed to.

In a joint, nonpartisan op-ed for the Washington Post, John Podesta and Andy
Card point out that the delayed transition was indeed a problem:

"When the 9/11 Commission finished its report, it found that the delayed
transition “hampered the new administration in identifying, recruiting, clearing
and obtaining Senate confirmation of key appointees” in the national security
arena. The commission also concluded that avoiding future disruptions in
transitions was deeply in the national interest."

Can you please point to actual evidence, verified evidence of fraud &
impropriety with the voting process & ballot counting?
