Voter fraud claims cannot be based on "I hear this guy who talked to someone who saw something that someone did". There needs to be hard evidence.

As someone once said, extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence.

I'm from a small town in the midwest, I like to keep an eye on the town
newspaper.

One of the letters to the editor mentioned that they knew there was fraud
against Trump.
How did they know?

because after 4 years of Trump's leadership, how could he be less popular?

Well, number 1 - that’s a crazy reason in & of itself

But, number 2, more people voted for him this go around than voted for
him in 2016

Which I guess shows how stupid his supporters are in making such wild
claims anyway. But why bring logic into a fact less discussion. It
certainly hasn’t worked @ any point during the last 4 to 5 years

The smoke has begun to clear and election tallies are wrapping up.

It looks like Joe Biden beat the living shit outta Trump.  Biden topped 80 million votes recently.  WOW!

While I remain dismayed that well of 70 million people sought to keep Dolt 45 in office.  I am relieved to see there are a lot MORE people who recognize that a sentient, racist turd in an overly long red tie and a fright wig combover would make a horrible President.

Now the question is: Does the GOP double down in 2024 on the racism seeing as their voters find it the best reason to vote for their candidates?

With Michigan finally certifying the results, at least we can put that BS to rest.

Biden has been declared the winner in that state so many times, he should change his name to The Ohio State University.

"Thanks for the link.  The case to watch is Law v. Whitmer.  If the affidavit is used, it will be in that case."

That case does not allege the fraud you described in the affidavit.  If they intended to use the affidavit there, they would have done so.  You are correct that at this stage of the case--called the pleadings stage--evidence is not required, but you have set forth the allegations you want to later prove with evidence.  In the very compressed timeframe for these election contests, no one holds back their best evidence.

Love it. I’m gonna start using it.

I swear I feel more brain cells dying whenever I read posts by the Trumphards on Facebook.

And have you ever noticed that whenever someone brings politics into a situation that has nothing to do with politics, its always a right-wing nitwit with barely 2 brain cells to rub together? Was reading something yesterday that had nothing to do with the subject, and some conservative moron just had to bring up a Biden insult.

"No one holds back their best evidence."

Generally I agree with you here.  But I've seen some remarkably bad lawyering, and when you factor in the compressed timeframe associated with these cases, there's a lot of room for this.

The Notice of Contest does allege the type of fraud described in the affidavit, but with less specificity than the affidavit.  See Paragraph 70.

Regardless of whether you agree with his politics, Giuliani has a solid resume as an attorney, so when he produced the affidavit I took it seriously.  If it turns out there is nothing there, so be it.

It would be disappointing to see him stoop to the level of using evidence he didn't believe in just to stir up public outrage.
