If you want a reasonably cheap copy of Fin Fang Foom's first appearance from Strange tales 89 (1961), Fantasy Masterpieces 2 (from 1966) might be your easiest gateway.
It amazes me that Marvel could reprint material that was only five years old like that but they did it pretty regularly at that time.
I think I got my middling copy for a buck 20 years ago.

I had the first two issues of Fantasy Masterpieces and it had some nice stuff, then they switched to a 25cent giant that reprinted '40s-'50s superheroes and it was renamed Marvel Super-Heroes eventually. They also used some of the monster era shorts to fill out the backs of various early '70s comics.

Notice the artists names on that cover! So much for people who accuse Stan Lee of hogging the spotlight or taking all the credit! :^)

Maybe it helps if King Kong is in one's top ten favorite films list, but I never thought of the nutty names for the monsters as racial in any way. Never confused Fin Fang Foom for actual Chinese, although I think it was supposed to be, some long-winded 'meaning' including "he whose back rubs against the sun", but which was charming because of it's long-windedness. Nothing better than a big monster giving a lengthy speech to us humans (or Asgardian Warriors Three as the case may be) either!
