1) was it always intended as a graphic novel?
2) how did the project come about?
3) did you have any say in the inker chosen (Kim DeMulder) for the
project?

1) was it always intended as a graphic novel?

A: No. It was originally a two part story for the regular comic. Then Marvel got hungry for "graphic novels".

2) how did the project come about?

A: I'd not been satisfied with the Wreck of the Helicarrier in GODZILLA.

3) did you have any say in the inker chosen (Kim DeMulder) for the project?

A: No. (Don't read into that. It's not a negative comment.)

I have never read that comic. Did browse it in my LCS once, but those graphic novels were too pricey for my pocket back then.

I never bought this either. Marvel did a good job outpricing typical fans. I bought comics with money I made from my paper route and later my fast food job. Budgeting was important, and so was bang for the buck.

I'm a third whose never read it. Loved John's She-Hulk but by the time I got to the party this GN was too high priced.

I remember  purchasing the GN when it was released.

Much JB goodness in it.

She-Hulk was a favorite character of mine since her inception.  I loved her more when JB relaunched her title.  I bought this GN when it first came out because, well, how couldn't I?  Was it expensive for a kid that age?  Sure.  But I found a way to afford it because I had to have it.

I have just got the Omnibus so will be reading this and the run on the series on the first time.

The colouring on the GN always seems very different to my eyes and I can never put my finger on why. Am sure there is a logical / technical reason that I am missing. Thoughts?

Loved this, bought it when it was released.

I'm not sure there is anyone that gets Jen as well as JB
did. I loved his interpretation in FF and then this GN was
just brilliant.

I'm currently re-reading Roger Stern's run on the Avengers. I liked his take on She-Hulk but I didn't love the character until JB put her in the Fantastic Four. I need to go back and re-read the graphic novel.
