I got my first Moderna shot here in Northern NY about an hour ago. I go back in 4 weeks for the second.

I received the J&J vaccine thru CVS one week ago today.
I felt tired that evening, followed by a night of fever, slight headache, and muscle and joint pain mainly in my lower extremities. Those symptoms lasted the next day as well. Fatigue continued into the following day, but everything else was gone. Oddly enough, the injection site ached the most 4 days later, but then quickly disappeared altogether. The greatest side effect was the overwhelming feeling of relief that soon life may resemble something akin to normal again.
Based on my experience, I wouldn't bother with signing up at the government sites. I've been waiting weeks to hear back from them. After 3 days of randomly popping onto the CVS site, I was able to book an appointment at the pharmacy less than a mile down the road from me. Early morning (6:30am CST) does seem to be the "secret".

Received my first Moderna dose a little less than two weeks ago, go back for the second shot in early April. No real side effects beyond a sore arm - at least, nothing I can point to that I don't normally experience from the blood clot damage in my heart and lungs.

Got my first dose of Pfizer last month, getting the second dose Saturday. Just a sore arm after the first one. It is a special education thing, so most of the school employees are getting the shots the same weekend. They decided to have Monday be a "calamity day" off rather than risk having lots of teachers have to call in sick. Not many substitutes available this year has been another issue.

Got my first Pfizer shot 4 weeks ago, with the second due up sometime in the next 8-9 weeks ( exact date to be confirmed ) - nothing in terms of side effects other than a sore arm for a day or so, as other posters have mentioned.
It was certainly a well-organised routine, and I made doubly sure to be fully appreciative and respectful to everyone that dealt with me on-site - having heard about cases of volunteers and NHS staff getting serious abuse from some attendees - absolutely NOT ON.

I'm due to get mine a week from Monday - shot #1. I'm sure that whyever I die, it WON'T be due to a vaccine. So I'm cockily optimistic.

Got mine here in China in January. Mass inoculation in a stadium and it was very well run. We had to have the health code on our phones scanned so we can show anyone we were vaccinated as well as been given a paper in English stating the same. Can't wait for vaccination passports so we can finally travel.

Finished the full Moderna sequence late January...minor effects. I've had
hangovers that were worse. Some of my staff were knocked out for a day or
so. Fatigue was the biggest issue for me. We started giving the J&J vaccine
this week to some essential workers.
