Sounds as if your coffee percolated a little too long and it got... Byrned.

Poe is there, but hiding. Trust me. All cats hide and they're usually where you least expect them, especially when it comes to locating them for vet visits.

•••

Poe hid out in the flat files room, off my Studio, the first week or so I had him. These days he stays on the ground floor. Literally years since I’ve seen him down in the Studio.

I don't see a cat, but I do see a Galactus bottle opener which I also have.
It's got some weight to it doesn't it?

My eyes went straight to the beat up abuse of the drafting surface that is the mark of day-in-day-out work that takes me back fondly to my early analog architecture days ... T-squares and exacto blades forever!

Not visible in this shot, but across the bottom of the board the cover is rubbed clean by the movement of my arms back and forth over years. It has the unfortunate effect of looking as if a pair of enormous boobs have been resting there.

Not to mention dealing with changes in temperature and humidity warping the mylar (i think that's what it's called) and keeping your arm's warmth from doing the same. Never understood why it is/was sold in that green color. Last time I purchased one I finally got one in egg shell so it didn't make me nauseated to look at it every day.

Well, the back of it is gray, but I really have no problem with the green.
