Another masterwork book covering FF 251-257 and some related books.
Al Milgrom wrote the intro, it’s dated 2021.
And it’s a bit of a trip. “I saved Byrnes career from an editor who thought his Iron Fist work was awful…. JB doesn’t know but true story.”
So milgrom remains the same troll he was 10,20,30 and 40 years ago.

Milgrom is a troll? First I’ve heard of this. I’ve always understood him to be a pretty stand up guy.

Yup. They're fairly skimpy.
And Al Milgrom was never a troll.

It also has Annual #17, Avengers #233, The Thing #2, and 80 pages of FF-related Official Handbook entries, many drawn by JB. So it's anything but skimpy.

If only!
Many years of blood, sweat, tears and inspiration are responsible for that $ (who knows how much is really owed?).

sigh I got paid the first time, when I produced the work. Money from reprints is definitely free.

I was going to stop getting the FF MMWs seeing as I'm now buying these issues for the fourth time (single issues/trades/Omnibus/MMWs) but I accidentally ordered this and now it's here, I can't bare to send it back. It's beautiful. Always loved that Annihilus cover.

I only meant that you getting paid for work already done is no more free than the company getting money from the reprint. I have this conversation with colleagues of mine in a similar circumstance so it struck a nerve. I loosely equate to what actors get with commercials or reruns in syndication: they get paid for the initial work, but then also collect residuals. If you're the reason for why it continues to have value (a big if, who determines that, I know ...) then you should continue to get SOME compensation. < id="protanopia"> > < id="deuteranopia"> > < id="tritanopia"> >
