Is it me or does anyone else see that as a pin up in the back of a Generation's book?

That is sweet. I like how you where able to incorporate so many villains, especially like how the Joker is coming out of the window. I would imagine that would be one of the challenges of the piece is figuring out how best to fit in so many villains.

The whole things is incredibly well thought out. If the commissioner ever wants to part with it, look me up, any time, any place

...does anyone else see that as a pin up in the back of a Generation's book? *** Well, if I may be allowed to play Anal Fanboy for a moment, altho this is a mixture of timelines -- that version of Catwoman alongside Ra's al Ghul, for instance -- it doesn't quite fit the GENERATIONS timeline, either. Again, Ra's is the problem. Since we have Dick as Robin, that's Bruce as Batman, and he didn't meet up with Ra's until much later in his career. After he gave up being Batman, in fact, if I remember my GENERATIONS history!

I would imagine that would be one of the challenges of the piece is figuring out how best to fit in so many villains. *** Multiple villains present two main challenges: first, placing them in the shot such that they all get "equal screen time", and second, finding a way for them to be more or less "in character" in a single pose. This one works fairly well on both counts, I think.

Incidentally, Batman is the first DC character to get a "solo" 20x30 commission.

Great piece!
How many markers did you wear out on this one? :-)
My vote is for you to work on a Batman book. (IF DC is watching)

This is a particularly memorable one -- the composition, Ra's boots, the folding cape (discussed above).
Batman's face -- JB is one of the artists that just nails the look of Batman's face for me. When I see a Neal Adams or Jim Aparo Batman, the face instantly jars me as Batman, yet without being overly affected or distinct. JB's in a "club of three" with those two for Batman's face.
