The Ghost Rider steals the show, IMO.

 | Best Hercules I've ever seen! Best commission I've ever seen!   Something about it made feel twelve years old standing near a comic book rack! |

 | They're trashing the Sentinels and they're having fun!   Remember looking at the super-heroes and wishing you were one of them? |

Those with long memories will note I cheated a bit on Ghost Rider. At that vintage, his bike had a big skull-like windscreen across the front -- hard to draw and pretty silly looking. Gil Kane did at least one CHAMPIONS cover that left it off, and the bike looked vastly better. So, altho it's technically "inaccurate", doing this piece I took my cue from Gil.

 | (Side Note: When I was working on THE CHAMPIONS, Shooter commented that he liked my Ghost Ride because "even though you're drawing a skull, somehow you manage to make him handsome." Which, unfortunately, was not what I was going for!!) |

 | Excellent piece of work, JB! Haven't ever read any Champions stories (that I can recall), it's possible that none reached Sweden in any of the Marvel comics published over here. This picture definitely makes me interested in checking out the two TPBs that are out.Does anyone have anything (good/bad) to say about those volumes?
