I've been very impressed with how long the "brush"
pens hold out!

This (and The Champions) puts GR high up on my commission wish list.
I assume these "pipe clean" sketches don't add to a character's total on the board. Pity as GR (and Dr Strange) deserve to be higher because you do them so well.
That's it! I'm starting a petition for JB to do a Midnight Sons series!

David I wouldn't call this piece a sketch. And I am not sure why they wouldn't count on the character count that JB keeps.
JB, what exactly do you mean by "cleaning the pipes"?

I thought it was like the recent Cap and Superman pieces.
Probably will go on the count.

***
Most people, when they finish a job, like to take
some time off. I'm a workaholic, so my idea of "time
off" is to do a different job. I call this "cleaning
the pipes".
In this case, I finished the first half of Wayne's
whole-comic commission, so I felt the need for
some pipe-cleaning.

I like the way your Dr. Strange is clearly not a twenty something. He looks
very serious, nice work.

My take on Strange, which is mine, is that he is essentially immortal, but with that immortality came no "eternal youth". He stopped at whatever age he was when he became the Ancient One's pupil -- and all the rigors of years and hard life are writ upon his face.As I have mentioned before, this is my perfect casting for Strange:
