I've been a fan for close to 30 years and I think this is the first piece of your
art I would never has pegged as yours.

I suspect if someone got really anal about it, they might twig to the fact that
in the original, base photo, McQueen's hands are in his lap, not on the
handlebars, and his left leg is cut off at mid-shin. Those are the parts that
leap out at me as not traced from photographs.

I hope whoever does his tatoo does the original justice.  I especially like the front tire and wheel.

I never saw this before. Or at least my memory tells me I haven't...

This was definitely after I joined the forum though, so maybe the old brain isn't being realiable. Looking forward to seeing the photo!

What was the inspiration for the illustration? I can't imagine someone made a commission request for a Steve McQueen portrait.
