Now that is a COOL commission!! Count me as one who has always wanted to read that "What If..." every since I read "The Art of John Byrne" book, where I first saw it discussed (and first saw the sketches). Very AWESOME!!

Among the top reasons, Phillipe, would be the fact that's not a job I've ever wanted!

Well, reading that short version of the story idea is much more exciting than the prospect of reading a current X-comic. That would be a fun What If? issue!!!
Thanks, JB! :-)

Phenomenal commission. That is a comic I would love to read. Three weeks into 2013 and we have seen some of the best commission ideas ever.

Wowzers!!
(stops gawking, shuts mouth, and re-engages higher brain functions)
See, that's another two things I miss about current comics: covers that make people intrigued and excited to find out what's going to happen in the story - and cool story ideas that make for intriguing and exciting reading.
I now want to go punch the commissioner for this bit of shameless 'Tantalus-style' taunting... (only kidding!)
Great idea - and fantastically realised! Again, wowzers...

Okay, so how do I go about finding Walter Bishop in this universe? I reallywant him to put me in the universe where JB wrote and drew this book.

If anyone from Marvel sees this, their next big event will be about Magneto going back in time to rewrite history.
