I like it because it doesn't fit in any continuity... that's what is called fun I think? :^)

Happy 17th anniversary of what might be my favorite commission! If comics were still like this, I'd probably still be reading. Just pure fun here.

Bats and cats and spiders, oh my.
I hope someone doesn't appear to say they were born that year; it really does seem like only last week.

Good grief! My first time seeing this piece, and it instantly brought a smile to my face. This makes my night. Thank you, JB!
I love Alfred with the mask. Very nice touch and seems like a nod to the Adam West TV show.

It’s so odd that I can’t remember what I cooked for dinner last night, but I knew exactly which commission it was by the title. And for so many of them.

This one deserves a yearly "bump". Absolutely one of my top ten when it comes to JB's commissions and everything that I miss about comics.

Bravo on the details of the dinner table. Just showing off on how well the bowls on the plates look in perceived proper perspective:) And those candles on the ledge, the way they are positioned could have easily been misconstrued as being just to Batman's right if not rendered in such a way to convey that they are at a higher level. This is why I spend so much time in the commissions section. Detail heaven :)

Curious—and a little sad—to check the profiles and see how many “familiar” names are no longer a part of our little community.

Depending on what is meant by "no longer a part ..." (hopefully not as final as it sounds), I would say if dwindling membership was a concern, there are proven techniques to stimulate interest that the webmaster (or whatever titles they're using these days) could employ to address the issue. Most have to do with providing new content of some sort on a somewhat regular basis.
