Y’know, I can’t remember what the comparison was twixt Khan and Phoenix—unless it’s that both were former good guys turned into villains by Chris (on his own in the case of Khan).

Khan used the alias of Tyrone King but was it Phoenix or Dark Phoenix that was also the Black Queen.

It was Roger Stern who noted that “Tyrone” means “king”, creating a kind of double barrel name like “Master Khan” and providing the impetus for my story in NAMOR.
