That's a matchup that never occurred to me before. Cool.

"Mr. Ditko, nobody draws Limbo as well as you!"
****
Well, almost nobody drew anything as well as Mr. Ditko did!
About Surfer v. Dark Phoenix, since the latter is supposed to rival Galactus in sheer power, isn't this a clear mismatch?
About the commission: GREAT!

Thanks for the response JB. I love these insights into what was going on
'behind the scenes' on the books.

I had forgotten about this possible confrontation Chris hinted at in X-Men.
And that would have been a *brilliant* Hidden Years story!
(And I'm happy to know now what that story was going to be, that you have
hinted at in the past.)
Too bad it can never happen now.
Thanks for sharing, again, JB!

Aaahhhh...serious commission withdrawal had set in. Cosmicly delicious, I love it. Thanks for sharing.
Question on the signature, how does one get one's name on the page (To Jeff...)? Is that something we can request from Jim Warden?

Wow. I would love to see this book one day. One of my favorit Excalibur stories was Alan Davis's Phoenix (Rachel Summers) vs. Galactus.
