Agreed, but these three have stuck with me (in my head) for years! So I couldn’t pass them up.

Cool!

I used to have Mego action figures for V.I.N.CENT, Maximilian and a robot sentry back in the 80s.

The Black Hole is an odd film -- I just started musing about Kate having telepathy... which she uses to talk to the robot V.I.N.CENT. It seems a bizarre inclusion. And, of course, that ending.

Great figures you have there.

Incredible design work on THE BLACK HOLE. Story? Well, yes.

Movie equivalent of Space 1999 for me in that the designs were so great.

BleedingCool is reporting that Eaglemoss has gone into administration -
usually the first step to bankruptcy.

A real shame for all involved as their product was quality.

End of the line for Eaglemoss

Frankly, they have been kind of *reaching* for some of the later entries in
many of their offerings.

Sad. I’ve been accumulating their pieces for a long time!

The effect, I found, was much like the old comics collecting. I found myself anticipating the next Eaglemoss superhero figure in much the same way my (much) younger self had looked forward to the next GREEN LANTERN or FANTASTIC FOUR (and many others).

I just recently picked up this AT-AT for my man cave. The funny thing is Pepper (my dog) just noticed it and I kid you not she very quickly tried to sniff its back side…..

Unfortunately no, it came out in 1997 I picked it up as a
Lot purchase that included an original X wing and B wing bomber.

I kept a select few of my original Star Wars toys when I sold up in 1985.
Instantly regretted selling them, but it was 1994 when a bulk buy of figures
- 60 for £45, ah, those were the days - rekindled. My collecting.

I went to a toy fair that year & bought an AT AT for £30, even had a wrecked
box. I’d wanted one back in the day but they were too expensive.
