This could be one of the first times that JB has drawn the Thing where he comes across as kinda scary! This is NOT a Ben Grimm to be messed with! Awesome piece.

Of the homages that Steve posted the link to, I think far and away my favourite is Joker protecting Harley with a fish.
It really is an iconic cover, isn't it? Much like JB's Wolverine in the sewer, or Cyclops holding Jean and crying out, it's one of those things that's just entered the comic-consciousness and become a landmark image of the medium. So cool!
