Going back and re-reading the ELSEWHEN issues.  So much happened!

These are so stinkin' great.

Byrne is still my preferred inker over Byrne pencils. Joe Sinnot worked really well over Kirby, but I found his style overpowered JB's pencils too much for my own taste.

**** I agree with both statements. I also thought Sinnot worked well with Al Milgrom's pencils.

Scot- Ditto on Milgrom/Sinnott. Joe brought those pencils to a better place
in the MU.

JB, don't feel bad. We're forever grateful for what you've already given here. Whatever's in the cards, I'm behind you!

Paul is right.  You've done more than any of us could have possibly hoped.  Peace good sir.  I, for one, am very grateful these characters got a chance to live again.  Thank you so very much for that.

I’ve had so many comics canceled, or even worse, completed poorly by someone else, I can live with this. (I’m talking about you, first series of Warlock. I might hold a grudge about some)

Do you recall which edition of your big Galactus arctradepaperback it was where you were able to have subplots not directlyconcerned with the story excised?

AndI utterly take your point on colouring. I remember on reading your Jack Kirby's Fourth World #13 and recall ascene with Beautiful Dreamer and Takion where the colourist did unnecessarysculpting on her face (page 14, panel 3).

I saw a YouTube video in which Klaus Janson interviewed Frank Miller for a Will Eisner memorial.

Frank mentioned an incident when he joined Marvel and someone showed him a Byrne/Austin X-men and told him that was "the house style".  He said he took one look at it and declared, "I can't draw like that!"

:)

There was a time when I was the go-to guy for any job that needed to be turned around fast, but I don’t recall ever being called the “house style”.
