One year ago today.

I have to admit that I see postings of his work from his last few years on Facebook, and I get angry - because he still had every bit of talent about him - still trying camera angles that most artists wouldn't dare to - and because there will never be another artistic force of nature like him.

I was so busy doing a deathwatch for George that Neal totally blindsided me.

So much of the talent that was booming when I came in is gone now. Neal, Tom, Len, Bernie, Archie, Denny, George. Crushing.

There's nothing quite like Batman drawn by Neal Adams and it's highly likely there will never be another artist with the same impact.
