Blurgh!

Ordered thru Amazon a non-Lego TIE Interceptor. Arrived yesterday, with no instructions! Should have read more closely. The Amazon page says a PDF of the instructions can be dowloaded. From China!

Sorry, too paranoid for that!

Blurgh!!!!

Finished the Lego Saturn V this morning. Amusing as always to note how cleverly they use standard pieces in new and different ways.

This is actually the third Saturn V I’ve built, going back to the Revell model I bought in the early Seventies (and still have!). The stylization in the Lego version, to get something that is close to looking like the real thing—-well, like I said, amusing.

Been @ Celebration today, loads of stuff announced/shown by Hasbro.

They have a mock up of the Mandalorian N-1, announced the next HasLab
will be in the vintage Collection line (cue lots of shouts of ‘The Ghost’, but
they would not be drawn on what it will be) & gave away two TVC Sail
Barges.

Good panel all around.

Also visited the Jazzwares stand, which produce my latest version of crack
- the micro galaxy squadron. Lots of good info, including that distribution in
the UK should get better, & they also had some AT-ATs ti play with - those
look fantastic.

Going to be an expensive year for ship buying I think

My hat's off to you, JB - it took three guys to build this model (I think it's the same model?)

The model itself is not overly complicated. I think they used three guys because they HAD three guys!

Cute. I already have a Stan doll, so I have resisted other iterations, but that one. . .

(Among the weirder bits of my life is having dolls and action figures of people I actually know/knew.)

I mentioned to my son that I had been looking for a Stan POP and couldn’t make up my mind on one. As much as I like Funko, Stan’s happy energy comes through better here. The kids did good!

I imagine this has been posted here a few times, but I just
saw it the other day for the first time.
