Excellent drawing on today’s page. I’m very intrigued to see where this is all going!

Jean's eyes in that last panel sums everything up. Brilliant.

Nathan, I am also intrigued to see where it's going. I thought I had it figured out, but today's page makes me a little less sure.

The eyes in the great panel are great, but the biting of the lip and the bedraggled hair are excellent as well.

JB,
I hope this question doesn't fall into the:
"... Because I clearly need them ya' Big Dummy!!! (Ala Fred Sanford)" category.

But, in reference to you latest page, specifically vanishing points;
I always though vanishing points were used to determine static objects with straight(ish) lines (walls/buildings/cars/etc) with established lines, yet you used them in these panels without any of these (I'm sure you used them before and I just didn't notice).

Do you always use vanishing points in your work to determine angles no mater what the environment?

I will often use perspective grids even if I’m drawing a single figure without backgrounds. Perspective grids allow me to ground objects on the same plane.

I read the comments about the "3D effect" --

Beyond the white boarder, I believe that the effect is being achieved because of the reused background is a tiny bit "fuzzy"... the figures are crisper and have more contrast... helps give it that depth of field.

Meanwhile, in order to accommodate the Demon story, I have made a small tweak to the "first issue". Six months free membership in the JBF to the first of you to name it.

Thanks for today's page, JB.

Hmmm... Why did Wolverine want to join Scott?

Methinks it should be apparent.
