Curious what that means? I live in CA as well. Have for nearly 25 years. Gas has always...ALWAYS...been more expensive here than anywhere in the US. By a large margin. That's not Biden nor is it tied to fraud and corruption.

This is a common enough refrain among right wing Californians for me to feel safe assuming that it's a right-wing swipe at the current administration.
This is the level of the "debate," because the GOP is now a voting block that thinks expertise, facts, evidence, and discussion are tools of the "elite" "fake news" "leftist-socialist" "tyrants".
The incredible success of the effort to create this state of affairs in the USA must bewilder even the Koch brothers who funded it for the last 50 years.

Very relevant. Another flaw in US thinking is the idea that whatever amazing convenience we've become used to came to us straight from God. Instead of realizing how infinitely blessed we are, we constantly bitch that we don't have it good enough.
You know California has been DEEP blue since Bill Clinton turned it in 1992 - almost THREE DECADES ago - and it's never looked back. I don't understand why Democrats winning here is seen as "fraud and corruption." To say nothing of the complete and total lack of evidence ever put forward to back up the claim(s).

(P.S., However, it is VERY much worth noting that "fraud and corruption" never, ever passed the lips of Republicans until TRUMP lost in 2020. But then cult leaders can have that effect on their flocks.)

No conspiracy theories here, Mark. Just stating that often in the news we obsess about the symptoms and not the causes. Current case in point stateside with all the complaints about the supply chain crisis: it's a global phenomenon, not a national one.
"Fraud and corruption" is the battle cry of those who have no knowledge, no proof, and nothing positive to offer. It's the ultimate cheap shot of politics, because those who are "too smart for the room" can nod like they actually understand what's being said without having to validate any of it.
