Another great page filled with awesomeness. That second panel is really dinging my bell!

On this page, I may have to resort to (>gasp<) Thought Balloons!

My scribble at upper left says 13 MIN AGO.

JB, hypothetically speaking, given that you have a relationship with IDW, IDW has a relationship with Marvel, could you ever see a scenario where these pages saw the light of day as some sort of Artist's Edition should you pursue this exercise through enough pages to warrant one? X-Men Elsewhen is already a good title for it.

(Edited to rephrase question)

Gave a page a shot, with mixed results. Did it on my laptop using a mouse and my non-dominate hand. Which I always use for my mouse. (The wife's fault from the days we shared a computer ;) )

Wow!  Love the use of panels on this one!   HIDDEN YEARS featured some really amazing use of panels - this page has that vibe for me.

I’m so glad to see you featuring Kitty on these pages.  We didn’t see enough of her during your time on the book.  You did give Kitty her Best Story Ever with “Demon” (#143)

Yes, wonderful use of panels. And great after all these years to have you coming back to Sprite. This story is a fun ride.

JB, it seems like you've had some revelations in revisiting these characters (and a lot of fun as well). What's surprised or pleased you most in doing this project?

I suppose to find that these characters are still living in my pencil, after all these years.

O, sure, I've done a plethora of commission pieces, featuring them, but that's not the same a slipping back into harness with actual continuity -- both in the sense of flow of action from panel to panel, and remembering where this story is situated in X-MEN lore.

Looking over the pages, I notice I've now played the Coincidence Card three times, which is high for me in one issue.

Better cut it out!

Also just noticed that the view count for this thread, which was around 34,000 yesterday, is now just under 1500.

Huh?
