Without getting into any actual rebuilding, I wonder if a better paint job
might be all Crystal needs?

Great job Ryan. When I first saw Eaglemoss' Cyclops & Nightcrawler I figured they were close enough to classic to buy. Now I'm disgusted with them and want yours! Nice work

When I think of Crystal, the first thing that pops into mind is her hair.
Crystal has a massive head of full, thick hair. That sculpt has limp, stringy
hair. If nothing else were done, I would want to at least add some volume to
her head.

Ray,
It was how extremely horrific the hair was that bugged me too.

OK, did the tail and a lighter shade of blue. Thanks for catching that, Thanos.

Interesting, I'm assuming this is a well-known pose for Mystique?

Amazing! Making a character I don't like (and didn't like drawing) actually
seem attractive!

It's from the cover of Mystique #2 by Joe Linser.

And probably the one place I would have welcomed black leather in the X-Men movies. As nice as it is to think of Rebecca Romijn being pretty much naked, I think this outfit would have served her character better.
