LARGER size picture: LINK.
This photo comes courtesy of Kevin Loge, whose family owned a bookstore in my city of Evansville, Indiana named Readmore. The photo was taken circa 1945. Pretty nifty display!
I wonder if anyone can give a list of all the comics shown? I am admittedly to lazy to do the research, myself. Heh.
For fun, how about we use this thread for anyone who wants to share other pictures of old comic book displays from newsstands, bookstores, comics shops, and such?

The Captain America is number forty-nine from August 1945.

I see Police Comics #45 and Captain Marvel Jr. #31:
Interesting that (unless I'm missing them) there don't appear to be any Dell or DC titles on that rack.

Jason, there is an issue of "Action Comics" behind the "Captain Marvel, Jr." comic, and to the right a bit."Porky Pig" on the top shelves would likely be a Dell.

I want to read Super Rabbit for some reason. From Timely Comics, wonder if Stan did the writing.

For anyone wanting to have a go, the Newsstand feature on Mike's Amazing World of Comics is a great starting point.
