Sad to hear. For some reason, I actually assumed he was older than 76.

By all accounts he was tough as nails in and out of the ring and one of the most respected wrestlers of all-time.

Race was one of the best heels ever. Genuine tough guy
and pretty scary to me when I was a kid!

Ric Flair was on Austin's podcast telling Harley Race stories they just don't make men like that anymore. Carried a gun everywhere he went, drank hard smoked two packs a day and fight anyone anywhere that disrespected the business.

Guess Harley had to accompany Flair on his Japanese trips to ensure no one would double cross Flair and take the belt off him.

I would love to see a Harley Race movie instead of the Hogan movie they got planned w Netfix.

Does Hogan have any actual involvement with the Netflix movie? Because if he does, you can be sure it'll be whitewashed crapola.

I want a Race or Flair movie.

Chris Hemsworth has signed to play Hogan .... Hogan gave permission to Bischoff to shop it around who sold it to Netflix and knowing Hogan's history I'm sure he has "creative control" somewhere in his contract. WWE and Netflix have a new deal so yea whitewashing will indeed happen. (pun intended)

I knew about Chris Hemsworth, but didn't know about Bischoff being the one shopping it around. Yep, its gonna be whitewashed garbage.

Can't wait to see (ie, am dreading to see) who they cast as Ed Leslie (Brutus `The Barber' Beefcake), Jimmy Hart and Eric Bischoff.

Hogan's version of the movie deal is on Austin's podcast it's a rather uh interesting interview Hogan has been rewriting history at the expense of guys who have passed away who can't challenge his side of things. His stories now Andre this Andre that Warrior this that Piper ...Macho ...

After seeing how Netflix did the Motley Crew film accuracy isn't important to them

The problem with anything related to wrestling is that first hand sources are probably the least credible. These are carnies and they've all re-written reality so many times they probably don't even remember the actual truth.
