Since when do "handy pieces" of ANYTHING cover "regions" in porn flicks? Isn't the uncoveredness the whole POINT of porn flicks?

When I came onto the FF as writer/artist, Shooter gave me one order first: "Restore Galactus!"   I knew exactly what he meant. Over the years Galactus had degenerated into a cosmic thug, far from the intellectually challenging character to whom we'd been introduced. I embraced the challenge, and spent two years building Galactus back up to his former levels.

In what seemed hardly a heartbeat after I was done, Shooter let Layton use Galactus as comedy relief in his HERCULES series.* Thanks guys!

As to Galactus' ever-impassive face, he has been known to show anger from time to time, but happiness is elusive. When I planned out my "Last Fantastic Four" story, I envisioned a scene very close to the end where Galactus would essay a hint of a smile, in appreciation of all the FF had done for him.

* Layton also gave Galactus "square eyes", not at all what Kirby had drawn, and that I had followed. But, of course, that mistake became canon.

When I set about restoring Galactus, one of the things I immediately realized was that this campaign would require me to draw the character a LOT of times. A LOT!

So I sat down with all the drawings of Galactus I could find and set about formalizing them into a single design. No easy task! Kirby, for one, rarely drew the character the same way twitce. Even on the same page. But eventually I ended up with a version I liked. It was gratifying to see "my" Galactus turn up as many of the toy versions of the character. (Tho oddly, one toy based on an FF cover I did does NOT use my Galactus!)

Of course, I have tinkered with my "model" several times in the years since. That sorta goes with the trade.
