I think Trump has been great for this country. Love him or hate him, he has instilled a real passion in MANY people. I mean, it must be worth something for so many to feel so superior to the leader of the free world.
And I don't disagree that Trump has seemingly provided ample reasons for feeling that way but at the end of the day, the so-called doofus is the one at the top.
Politics are just another spectator sport in my world. Recently, I have tried to remedy that a bit and followed along more closely than usual. Which isn't that closely but I put some effort into figuring out what was real and what was spin. I was very anti-Trump when he got elected and couldn't understand how so many supported him.
So, I tried to be objective about what was actually going on rather than judging him personally. I mean, I assumed that there must be something to all the investigations and impeachment and that he would be "out" and everyone would be safe again. But none of these things has come to pass and from the outside looking in, I can't help but wonder why?
I thought Trump's "fake news" rhetoric was just that. But the more I have paid attention to the media, the more I can see why he might say that. I realize the right isn't any better than the left but if nothing else, I appreciate how the one's I've watched from the right present their side of the conversation.
I realize I may just be getting tricked by their approach but from what I've heard from guys like Crowder, Shapiro and the Young Americans stuff on Youtube, they often counter what is being put out there by the left with statistics and they always say to watch the source material in full and don't rely on edited clips.
But, I don't think there is a way to come to a true conclusion. Much like football for example, one could argue either side of a conversation quite soundly and it just boils down to allegiance. It's all just a circus most likely designed to get people riled up to distract them from something else.
