I wouldn't mind a superhero comedy at all, if it still took the ideas of superheroes seriously.

For example: How about a She-Hulk series, taking inspiration from the separate runs on the character by JB and Dan Slott? It would add some levity into the MCU.

I thought this might be okay since it had Pudi and Tudyk in it and over the years I've enjoyed some of DC's more comedic superhero output like the Giffen-DeMatteis stuff (also Byrne's comedic superhero stuff at Marvel in She-Hulk). But this show is awful. What a waste of those actors and my time spent watching the pilot.

Never seen the show & not planning on it but the opening of the show is neat.

I watched last night's episode, to satisfy my curiosity.

That left a bad "Batman v. Superman" taste in my mouth. It relies on blatant references to the DCU, bad two dimensional characters, weak jokes (at best), and one decent moment where Batman actually "appears" - he doesn't show up on screen, but he is obviously there.

Dud, dud, DUD!

There was a clip in one of the early episodes of Starro climbing a building in the first episode.  This cracked me and my son up because it was so random, especially when I told my son that that was a real DC character.

Our long, national nightmare is finally over: Powerless is officially cancelled after one season.

Can the failure of this show give us some hope that Hollywood has learned a valuable lesson?

Probably not.

Not only cancelled, but they aren't bothering to show the remainder of the episodes filmed.

Such a waste of Alan Tudyck.
