My first visit to Heroes Con and Charlotte. Both were fun.

Heroes Con was another great one this year. I have yet to have a bad experience interacting with the pros.

I went to the first day of Awesome Con. A pleasant 20 seconds with Colleen Doran, the Stan Lee line gets more expensive and more "factory" every time (understandable under the circumstances and my "line buddies" were fun) and I managed to snag an X-Men #1.

Did the job I guess, but I might need to see if the wife'll let me head to Charlotte next year...

Made the mistake of peeking at this year's Heroes Con guest list. Now I'm depressed. :-) At least a good dozen or so folks I've never seen and would love to meet. Here's hoping they're regulars!

Heroes Con always has a great guest list. I think I may even get a room next year so I have more time to roam artist alley.

Enjoyed my 15th or so trip to Heroes Con!!! It's always worth the trip down from Ohio!

I have been on the Heroes Con e-mail list for many years. I just can't bring myself to gear up for that 12 hour drive. :(

I went on Sunday. Also met Colleen Doran. I'll admit, I wasn't all that familiar with her work, just happened to wander by her table (while waiting for my Stan Lee photo op to queue up!*). But she sold me on a personalized signed copy of The Book of Lost Souls, which I'd not heard of. Looking forward to the read...

*And yes, it was very...assembly line. The autograph session, even moreso.

I've had some difficulty posting pictures on
the forum but I did have a great time at
Heroes Con this year! Hanging out with old
JBF friends and meeting a few new ones!
