Awesome sketches. Interesting how so many of those codenames and designs seem perfect and timeless and yet no one else has used them!

Would have loved to have seen what Roger and John had dreamed up for Punch.

Cap's rogue gallery needed some serious upgrading, and it looks like it was so close to happening.

Am I right in guessing that the "ghost" image of this sketch can be seen on the previous page, with JB's list of possible character names?

And thanks for sharing all of these! It's always fun to see Byrne art from this era.

Andrew, the blacks have bled thru the pages thru the years.
The name list is sandwiched between Caliban on top, and Whisper under.
Charisma is the next page after Whisper.
