If you didn't like MAXIMORTAL, I'm not sure you'd like THE ONE. It's a little "rawer," but similar world view.

No idea, but it's worth noting there was an editor switchover and then all of the sudden we're jumping into the final battle. Before that there was an issue setting up multiple plotlines for future issues that were all ignored, in the letters pages Hudnall was soliciting Canadian reference, and IIRC, the Sorcerer storyline was supposed to get them up to #100.

No. The Image series made it to #7, ended abruptly, and to the best of my knowledge hasn't been seen since.
