Hopefully Judas Priest get it. I hope that they will be the final inductee of the night with Rob Halford riding out on his motorcycle.

Although I don't think MC5 will get in, the beginning of every RRHoF ceremony should start with the opening line from KICK OUT THE JAMS.

The Cars are deserving of induction as well as Dire Straits.

They may not get in on their first attempt but Rage Against the Machine should be in there too.

I'd be surprised if they put Judas Priest, Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine in together. They don't want a ceremony that heavy!

Judas Priest, yes. (Iron Madien and Motorhead next year I hope.)

LL Cool J, yes. (And KRS-One and De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, later.)

Rufus and Chaka Khan, maybe.

The Meters, definitely. The MC5, hell yes, it's taken way too long.

Nina Simone never thought of herself as rock & roll. Neither did Joan Baez or Leonard Cohen, so I guess it's fine.

Still waiting for Bad Brains, Living Colour and Fishbone. And Roxy Music and Joy Division/New Order. And the Buzzcocks.

I thought Link Wray was already in. Is Dick Dale in? Important rock guitarists, after all.

And since Grant Hart just died, and dying is a great way to get into the hall, how about Hüsker Dü? And Roxy Music, and Black Flag, and the Replacements, and Richard Thompson, and I could go on and on...

Unless they  go in as influences, Nina Simone and Sister Rosetta Tharpe don't belong.

I figure Bon Jovi is a lock.

My list of who I'd put in from the nominees (in no particular order):

Bon Jovi
Judas Priest
LL Cool J
Eurythmics
The Moody Blues

Depeche Mode, Rage Against The Machine and The Zombies, next year.

Kate Bush (who I like) probably isn't well known enough to be justified as an induction over most of the other acts. (I'd put her in before Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and The Meters, though.)
