Worth a read (may be behind a paywall if you've already viewed WSJ links this month, they only allow a certain limit of free views):

WHAT A GAME !!! THANKS FOR THE SHOW (NOT THE HALF-TIME ONE). Champions never lose...they just run out of time ;)
Congrats to the Eagles, they didn't steal it, 2 gutsy calls on 4th an 1...Pats buried by 3rd down defensive % and botched FG, not by their only sack suffered.
See you next season..OMG...Winter has come (for 8 months)

Yeah, good game.  Of the two Eagles TD calls questioned by Michaels and Collinsworth, I thought the second (the TD catch where the ball squirted out after striking the ground) was clearly a touchdown because the receiver had already taken three steps and was a running back by the time the ball hit and it broke the plane first  The first controversial TD catch was closer (the ball moves slightly and the receiver's next step is out of the back of the end zone) but again, very close and slow motion exaggerates things.  The real differences of the game were NE's special teams screw ups and Philly's gutsy, successful gambles (that first half 4th down TD particularly).  Brady was great, but Foles was equally great.

Fun game to watch - I didn't really care who won either way but good for the Eagles' fans. The way the Patriots do things it always comes down to a couple crucial plays and junctures and this was no different. Brady fumbling was the wrinkle that changed the usual Patriots narrative.

Some bad news: Edwin Jackson and his Uber driver were standing at the side of a road (possibly because Jackson got sick) and were hit and killed by a drunk driver yesterday morning. The worst part is, the drunk driver is an illegal immigrant who had been deported twice AND gave the wrong name to police when he was detained. I'm all for giving this asshole the expedited (as in no appeals) death penalty.

Congrats to the Eagles. I like that they were the underdog for the entire postseason. Shows what the experts know!  I didn't watch any of the game, but I heard a little around the half on the radio. Not the type of game I like anyway, with all that offense. I thought the Pro Bowl was last week!

Excellent game - so great to see the Eagles win. I moved from the east coast a long time ago, but no matter where I live, I have never lost my love for the Eagles and those adorable, lamppost climbing Philadelphians.
