Enjoyed his work in many roles. Was quite good in DEFENDING YOUR LIFE.

My most recent viewing of his work was when I watched THE LARRY SANDERS show in this past year. Couldn’t imagine anyone else in the role.

He was pitch perfect in both DEFENDING YOUR LIFE and THE
LARRY SANDERS SHOW.

He was great in DEFENDING YOUR LIFE  and seemed particularly born to play that LARRY SANDERS character.  It was a long, colorful, successful career but Artie was his indelible moment and a comforting reassurance that it's possible to have arguably your greatest (or at least coolest) success later in life.
