Eight months into the pandemic, and Trump still doesn't have a response plan. He could implement literally any element of Obama's discarded 2016 playbook and be an entire plan ahead of where the country is today.
Obama's plan is online. It's enlightening and infuriating.

I guess it is illegal to remove records from previous administrations. I am surprised this is on a US government website. Now that the CDC is no longer in charge of receiving Covid-19 hospital data until it first passes through the White House I would expect to see a sudden and remarkable change of trends in the US.

Also - if we're going to go ridiculous on the concept - if we get more people to commit suicide, we'll have far fewer cases. That sounds a bit closer to the White House's plan.

I just realized by disconnecting my continuous glucose monitoring I can cure my Type 1 Diabetes once and for all. Sweet freedom and health!

Chuck Woolery is walking back his idiotic comments about Covid-19 being a fake, Democratic conspiracy.....because one of his sons has Covid-19.
I would say its karma, but that would really only apply if he was the one who had it instead of his son.

I wonder if this is Trump’s strategy
No masks, no social distancing leads to massive number of cases (&
deaths)
Still banging on about mail in voter fraud.
Come November
I’m the President who takes the hard choice when it’s needed - the
level is so high, the danger so great, that I’m making the decision it’s
too dangerous to vote in person.
& since mail in voting is so corrupt, so corrupt, I’m signing an executive
order that until we beat this disease, it’s too dangerous to hold the
election.
I’ll get back to you with when I think that is appropriate.
Don’t let the fake news lie to you, I’’ve always made the tough
decisions, I closed the airports in January, long before anyone else did,
I spoke of hydroxichloroquin long before any one else did, & the studies
have proven me right. I know more about how to handle this desires
than anyone else alive. I have a gift for this thing.
We will beat it, but the fake media have undermined all my suggestions,
made fun of me when I suggested using internal light & disinfectant. If
we could use that we’d have this thing beat in a day. In a day.
Instead, because of the fake media, we have a desires that is out of
control. & so, to get it under control, I’m banning the elections, because
I’m the president that looks out for your safety.
Sounds too far fetched? Remember his defence was effectively, ‘I can
do whatever I want if I think the alternative is bad for the country’, & he
won on that defence.
He’s going to sign an executive order banning the election because the
numbers are too large & mail in voting is too corrupt.

Do you honestly think he cares about demonstrations?
I've watching Babylon 5 over lockdown and there's a
brilliant line where Londo is talking about Emperor
Cartagia. Londo is describing how the Emperor is
planning to destroy the homeworld so that he is elevated
to godhood and forever remembered.
Vir asks whether he has actually said this.
Londo replies something like:
He is insane, he talks about these things like we talk
about the weather
I think it fits Trump perfectly.

He's already prioritized support to states where he's popular or at least needs to win. I think between now and the election we'll increased efforts to direct resources in a way that somehow incentivizes the carelessness of his supporters in red states while aiming for maximum disruption in the states where Trump is polling underwater.
Of course the sky's the limit with a mendacious nutjobber like Trump.
