The preview for the Mack and Deke episode is amazing. I can't wait to see this one. Phil Headroom!

It was neat that they actually used the old classic SHIELD uniforms over the last couple of episodes. Though of course it did make me wish there was a classic style Nick Fury also making an appearance.

I've seen some decry the 80's episode as "filler" but I thought it was totally radical!!

I suspect that the last episode will have Coulson getting killed in the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, being revived, and seeing the original team just having found Skye and heading off into the sunset. A cameo by Samuel L is not unexpected either.

I'm loving this last season, right down to the openings of each episode.

POSSIBLE SPOILER: I wonder if this Lily is actually a precursor to AIDA?

They've quite rightly been calling last week's episode ("As I Have Always Been") the best of the series - yay, Elizabeth Henstridge! - and while this week's couldn't quite get up to those heights, it was also an excellent outing.  Season 7 could go down as their best, which is pretty goddamn impressive.

I appreciated the sentiment of having James Paxton play the young John Garrett, but he doesn’t really resemble his father.

That was a really nice touch. He does sound like him a bit and I guess it was kind of bittersweet for him to fill in for his dad.

They haven't inserted agents into a previous episode, so this doesn't feel like a copy of Endgame, and only a little like a "Farewell Tour."

I was going to retract my prediction that they'd try for one more movie tie-in with the '90s events of Captain Marvel, but I see I never posted it. One advantage of having been busy!

There was a split second when he had a smirk and I seen a flash of WEIRD SCIENCE Bill.
